Privacy Policy

Marielle Ebner-Rijke is committed to protecting your privacy and security. I will only use your information to process your order and to provide you with a good online service. I will not disclose information to third parties. (See Privacy Policy page for full details) 

Cookies

Cookies are small text files I put in your browser to monitor how my site is used but they do not  contain personal information and cannot tell us who you are.

I may use cookies to store and track information about your usage of my site. They are used when you visit my site to record temporary data relating to your visit, to manage the delivery of our web pages to you and any registration and ordering processes, and to help us monitor traffic through the site. 

By using the website you agree to allow it to set cookies on your computer. If you do not want to use cookies, most internet browser programmes will permit you to turn them off. If you do this, you will still be able to access the site as normal but some processes such as those outlined above that depend on cookies may not work properly.

Stripe

Stripe is the company that processes my customer card payments, providing secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions. When your order is placed on my website your card information is encrypted by Stripe secure online payment processing. I do not receive any of your credit/debit card details as this is handled entirely by Stripe.

Squarespace

My online shop is hosted by Squarespace. They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Full entitlement to the goods purchased will pass to you once full payment has been received by me.

Shop Purchases

Card packs are available to buy in my shop by UK customers. Customers outside the UK may like to use my Etsy shop for purchasing cards (Etsy.com/uk/shop/Dartmoorprintmaker). When you make a purchase on the website you will be using Stripe which is a third party payment processor. I am not responsible for the collection, use, sharing or security of your billing information by Stripe. The following payment methods are accepted by Stripe: American Express, Mastercard and Visa.

Purchasing a Print or Drawing

I am currently only accepting orders from the UK. I hope to take orders from elsewhere in the not too distant future. 

If you would like to purchase a print or drawing, please email me at ebnerrijke@outlook.com and let me know the title of the work you are interested in. If it is a print I can then tell you whether it is in stock or whether I will print it to order. Delivery is free. I will provide you with Bacs details so that you can make a bank transfer and I will dispatch the print as soon as I have received the payment and received your delivery address. 

I prefer framed drawings to be collected in person, however if this is not possible, you, the customer,  can also arrange a courier to collect. The customer is responsible for the courier postage. I will ensure that the artwork is well packaged but I cannot be liable for any damage incurred in transit. I will provide you with Bacs details so that you can make a bank transfer. I will dispatch the item as soon as I have received the payment and from that point your courier will be able to collect. 

Cards can be purchased through my online shop.

Availability of Goods

All items are subject to availability. I will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

I usually have prints in stock but as I don't complete all the prints in an edition in one go, it is possible that you may have to wait up to 2 weeks for a particular print unless it is included in the shop. 

Postage and Delivery

Prints are posted Royal Mail signed and tracked. This will mean that someone will need to sign for it on delivery. Postage of prints and cards is free to UK addresses.

Cards are posted Royal Mail standard first class within 2 working days. 

Occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to postal strikes or due to high demand in the run up to Christmas. 

Returns and Refunds 

If you want to return an item for any reason, please ensure it is returned in its original condition, using the original packaging or well packaged, within 14 days of receiving it and I will refund you.  I will only pay return postage if the work has a fault, not if you have simply changed your mind.

Photographic Accuracy of Artwork

All my prints, but my hand coloured prints in particular, may have some variations in colour across the edition, however I try to remain as true as possible to the photographs of the artwork on my website. 

I try to take photographs that accurately reflect the colours in the print though there may be slight variation depending on the settings of the computer these images are viewed on.

Pricing

I reserve the right to modify or discontinue the website, its prices (up or down) and products at any time without notice.
